Weaving Hair : Interlock Weave.
An interlock human hair weave, AKA tree plats, is an excellent option for somebody looking for extraordinary beauty and flexibility. An interlock weave is a strand-by-strand system of weaving and it can resemble a full head weave, with cornrows at the base of the style.
The reason why hair extensions on short bangs are so preferred is that they offer all the advantages of platting with the look of hair that moves freely. Sound hard? Interlock weaves can be difficult initially. But , with the right practice, you can create an interlock weave that’s attractive and almost undetectable.
Before you begin your interlock weave, start with hair that has been correctly washed and conditioned. Your first part will be round the perimeter of the head and will be about 1” to 1 quarter ” thick. Don’t fret too much if your part isn’t even all the way around ; this hair will just be used to blend with the completed interlock weave. Go on and cornrow this perimeter to get it out of the way.
Section off a miniscule piece of hair, parallel to the cornrowed section at the bottom. Take a tiny piece of this hair and make a section to plat. Start braiding with the client’s hair and take a tiny piece of extension hair and add it to the outside 2 strands.
Then, you may want to follow these steps :
1. When you add the extension hair to the outside two strands, cornrow once.
2. Then, pull a piece of the extension hair you simply added and move it to the side of the plat. This piece is not part of the plat.
3. Cornrow once again and then add the extension hair to the 2 outside strands.
4. Cornrow once and pull the extension hair out to the side braid.
5. Cornrow once and add your extension hair to the cornrow.
Continue in this fashion, parting the hair in a rounded motion as you plat. When you reach the top, your interlock weave should be one continuous cornrow with extension hair coming from the stitches of the cornrow. You may want to make the top a little thicker than the remainder of the hair, so add a bit more extension hair to your braid.
When you’re on the last braid at the top, braid it out to the end and stick this braid into your exist one thousand ing cornrows, making the top as flat as feasible. Stitch the cornrows in place to secure.
Don’t forget to remove the first set of cornrows you made with the hair around the fringe. When you take away the cornrows, use your fingers to work the client’s hair in with the weave and blend till you are pleased with the result.
